In June 2014, the government announced that National Express had won the right to continue operating the c2c service in the new 15-year franchise. c2c Rail serves the route to and from London and South Essex. A number of promises were made to improve the future quality of the service and on the c2c app.

Capita engaged with c2c Rail to provide resources for the testing of a series of projects of critical importance to the c2c business pipeline. This case study explores the crowd testing that took place on the c2c mobile app.
