Setup in 2015, ChooseCare is a totally new and innovative start-up business owned and funded by Capita. Developed with assistance from experts in adult social care from a local Council, ChooseCare is an online portal that enables care service consumers the ability to search, select and book care from a wide range of local service providers and manage all their
financial transactions online, without the need for separate bank accounts and sending bank statements to their local council. 2016 saw the start of pilots with multiple councils, and have plans for extensive growth over the coming years.

To maintain this level of pace ChooseCare engaged Capita IT Professional Services (ITPS) in early 2016 to define and implement a well-structured PMO, and efficiently operate this core function. ChooseCare also requested support from Capita ITPS in setting up and managing the IT infrastructure and data security deliverables.
