We are looking for a Data Migration Lead to integrate our Data & Analytics practice.

The candidate

The right candidate would have experience delivering complex Data Migration projects/programme and co-ordinating data transfers from source Data Centres to target Data Centres ensuring data transfer protocols are met and datasets are aligned. A solid understanding of data migration requirements and co-ordination is mandatory.

The candidate will work within the Data Migration team to assist co-ordinating integrated development across datasets where appropriate e.g. Sharepoint loads for Taranto and Amdocs applications. Ensure integration requirements across all datasets are met for test and production.

Team and business engagement are key components of this role.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead Data Migration projects to provide guidance to the data migration team
  • Define and guide the development of data transformation routines and scripts
  • Data analysis and the creation of data quality reports
  • Participate in Workshops to provide consultative support in developing Data Migration Strategies
  • Maintain relationships with the Test Team and ensure test data requirements are defined and meet overall Programme Schedule
  • Creation of hand over documentation to the customers
  • Data extract schedules
  • Live data migration planning and logistics
  • Assist with Functional and Non-Functional Testing of migrated data
  • Participate and assist on the growth of the Data & Analytics practice

  • Extensive experience of working in a Data Migration Lead position
