About the role 

As part of our Solutions, Analysis and Architecture practice we have a number of positions available for Senior Consultants in the Business Analyst role. You will be expected to be comfortable working on client engagements, being able to adapt to new working environments and practices quickly and seamlessly.  As part of our Consulting business you will have the opportunity to work on client engagements as well as support sales and business development activities. You will be expected to provide input into, and challenge, our approaches and methodologies as we constantly adapt and transform to retain our position as a market leader in our service offerings. 

Main responsibilities

Develop an in depth understanding of business processes and systems
Business case development
Define approaches and methodology for project engagements
Liaise with users to clarify fine detail of design and document requirements
in clear, concise and testable terms
The ability to capture and map as-is processes and re-engineer business
processes into a to-be state
Produce logical design specifications for small, medium and
large projects 
Develop and maintain requirement traceability matrix
Ensure business confidence in the proposed solution
Demonstrate business and regulatory awareness and understand how any
changes may impact systems
Identifying metrics to ensure that the perceived business benefits are
Participate in peer review processes, including documentation review

Experience/skills required

Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Attention to detail 
Capable of setting and following standards
Ability to promote a quality control culture
Communicates IT ideas to non-IT users and vice versa
Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
Ability to lead and facilitate requirements workshops.
Understanding of the Unified Modelling Language
User stories
Use of enterprise architect or similar case tools
Agile experience (e.g. Scrum Master)
LEAN / Six Sigma
