We are looking for Managing Consultants/Senior Data Architects – Data & Analytics to integrate our Data & Analytics practice.

The role

Our Managing Consultants/Senior Data Architects in Data & Analytics have senior responsibility within our Data & Analytics practice, they also play a key role in growing the practice, our business and providing guidance and coaching to more junior members of the practice. As a Managing Consultant/Senior Data Architect in Data & Analytics, you will be expected to fully participate in the day to day practice activities by working closely with our team colleagues and to positively contribute to the success of the team by sharing your knowledge and experience.

Required Experience:

  • Defining and delivering complex Data, BI platforms and Analytics solutions
  • Leading large data warehouse, BI, Big Data or Data Architecture projects
  • Defining and delivering MDM, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutions/projects
  • Delivering Reporting solutions
  • Delivering data cleansing, analysis, discovery, profiling, quality assessment projects
  • Delivering knowledge of Enterprise Content Management, structured and unstructured, Data Governance and Data GRC
  • Delivering effective sales engagement and pre-sales support and commercial proposals
  • Establishing trusted advisory relationships within our customer base
  • Support the growth of the practice and coach junior members of staff

Experience in Financial Services, Retail or Public Sector are essential. Experience in other markets is also valued.

Travel within the UK is required.
Qualification & skills required

  • Hands on experience building ETL pipelines
  • Data Quality measurement and improvement
  • Data transformation and migration
  • A clear understanding of SQL database structures and best practice
  • Experience designing and optimising data integration architectures
  • Extensive experience in data modelling, data integration, data structure design and development
  • Able to map Data Flows and advise on systems integration, be able to map legacy data to new data structures, and source systems to target systems
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills including written, verbal, and technology illustrations
  • Data policies and standards for new development projects
  • Data structures and models within an Enterprise Data Warehouse and other data environments
  • Familiarity with modern data warehousing tools such as Amazon RedShift and Google BigQuery

Experience in at least one of the following technology vendors is required:
  • Microsoft (SQL Server & BI stack/solutions)
  • Talend
  • Informatica
  • Tableau
  • Qlik
